Movie Trailer Madness: Comic Con Edition

Since Thursday all we’ve done is stalk Twitter, Google, and Facebook for updates coming out of San Diego Comic Con. Basically, we’ve been on Geek Out overload for about five days. Today, I thought it would be fun to compile a bunch of the trailers that were featured at Comic Con in a special Movie Trailer Madness post! Also, several of these are for Television shows but I figured no on would mind!

MOVIE TRAILERS

Batman V Superman

Probably the most talked about trailer that came out of Comic Con this year was Batman V. Superman. This is in major part to the fact that they actually released it online for all the world to see, but also because it looks spectacular. One thing is for sure, Ben Affleck naysayers are probably eating their words! In the trailer we get, not only a great look at Batman and Superman, but also glimpses of Alfred (Jeremy Irons), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), and Lex Luther (Jesse Eisenberg).

Suicide Squad

Originally this trailer for David Ayer’s Suicide Squad was for intended for Comic Con attenders only, but of course it was leaked (albeit in really low quality). Well flash forward to today and I guess they decided that if people were going to see the trailer it’s better they see the high quality version. I’m not complaining, it is a pretty interesting trailer, although I’m not sold on Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn voice just yet and while I know that Jared Leto is going to deliver a wonderful performance his Joker look still feels a little off. But, details.

The Man From U.N.C.L.E

All you really need to know about this is Henry Cavil is a CIA agent. The End. Watch and enjoy!

Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2

I hesitate to call this a trailer, but it is very visually striking and worth a watch if you are suffering from Hunger Games withdrawals!

Rock the Kasbah

Until Comic Con I knew nothing about this film, and I have to say that of all the trailers it might be the most intriguing. The whole cast is amazing, but really Bill Murray is enough of a reason to watch it!

And last but could never ever in a million years be least:

Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Yes, I am aware that this is not a trailer, but I cried when I watched this footage. I cried and I am relatively new to the Star Wars fandom (I know). If you haven’t watched this footage I highly recommend that you watch it, re watch it, walk away for a bit, and then come back to watch it again.

Television Trailers

Doctor Who Season 9

Truthfully this could have been the only thing that came out of Comic Con and I would have been completely fulfilled. After a season eight that I am still on the fence about (not because of Peter Capaldi because I love him as the doctor, but something about the season as a whole was just not my favorite), it was exciting to watch this amazing season 9 trailer. If the whole season is like this trailer then I will be one extremely happy Whovian!

Sherlock

I’m still upset that we have like five more years to wait for the next season, but at least this Holiday Special First Look seems promising! Will it hold us over until the next season, probably not, but it’s something.

The Walking Dead / Fear the Walking Dead

AMC not only showed a trailer for season six of The Walking Dead but they also premiered the trailer for Fear the Walking Dead (a sort-of prequel to The Walking Dead in that it deals with the beginning of the outbreak). Admittedly I am about two seasons behind on The Walking Dead, but these trailers may have just inspired me to get caught up!

Heroes Reborn

As a huge Heroes fan, I am super excited about Heroes Reborn, and words can not really explain how I felt while watching this trailer. It’s just, well it’s Heroes Reborn.

Outlander

No, there wasn’t a trailer for Season 2 of Outlander (at least one hasn’t surfaced online that I can find), but they did show this amazing Gag Reel. Also, I really recommend watching the panel. It is really entertaining even if Diana Gabaldon looks as if she’d rather be anywhere else in the world (I feel ya, Diana, those crowds are huge!).

Well these are all the exciting trailers (at least the ones I care most about) that came out of Comic Con 2015! Thoughts? Let us know in the comments!
