LOL at the McKinney Classic Film Festival
What are your plans for this weekend? Are they full of laughs, classic films, and Cary Grant? No? Well, they could be. This weekend, August 19th – 21st, The McKinney Classic Film Festival presents their second ever line-up of classic films. The line-up this year consists solely of screwball comedies starring Cary Grant. That’s right, a whole weekend full of movies starring the one, the only Cary Grant.
I don’t know about you, but I could definitely stand to spend a weekend sucked into some classic film. I’ve been swooning over Cary Grant since the first time I saw The Philadelphia story, and this line-up is enough to make my classic film-loving head spin. I’ve got all of the pertinent details listed below and some helpful links.
I think, if you are in the DFW area, love classic film, and are looking for something fun to do then you should definitely look into taking in the festival. Katie and I will be around for most of the weekend. My quest to get her to love all of the classic films that I love is never-ending, and this is the perfect opportunity to continue that quest.
